The client is required to accept the work that has been completed in accordance with the contract provisions and industry standards.262
The contractor must be paid for the completed work. The payment is determined by the contract unless it is set by a mandatory tariff or another binding legal act. If no payment is specified, the court determines it based on the value of the work, the time typically required for such a task, and the customary payment for this type of work. The client is not obligated to make the payment before inspecting and approving the completed work unless otherwise agreed. This also applies when the execution and delivery of the work are agreed upon in parts.263
