Rights arising from obligations relationships are limited by the equal rights of others. They must be exercised in accordance with the fundamental principles of the OZ and their intended purpose. Participants in an obligations relationship must refrain from conduct that would hinder the fulfilment of the obligations of other participants.64

Rights must not be exercised with the intent to harm the other party or to achieve objectives that are not in line with the purpose of the right. Therefore, parties must not abuse the rights granted to them.
